This Is How You Do It With FortniteIn case you haven't heard, the makers of the hugely popular game 'Fortnite' have just released a free update that includes the latest update to their physics engine. This allows you to build your own bases, rather than simply joining and fighting with other players. In this article, we look at the exciting new features included in the update and try not to laugh!What's so great about bases? Well, it's simple really. They're huge structures - consisting of several floors, walls, windows, vents, staircases and a huge roof - with several entrances leading out. They can be used for different things, such as sneaking in, creating room, hiding, stealing, defending or getting rich.Each base comes with two floors, two walls and a ceiling - allowing you to build your base over several levels. As well as being able to build over levels, you can create multiple stories, with additional levels on top of the first two. You can extend your base any way you want - from the ground up, or from a top story, along with a staircase or two.Bases are usually protected by bunkers and turrets. They also come with unique and powerful weapons, such as grenade launchers and smoke machines. There are even different types of bases and different weapons, which means that there's no reason why you can't mix and match a number of different weapons to create the perfect base.In order to protect your base, it's an easy task to hide your tracks and avoid using ramps. An enemy will often mistake the tracks as signs of activity, leading them to attack your base.Once you've been invaded by another player, you can always try and lure them into an ambush - but you can also retaliate and destroy their base, as you would in a regular game of Fortnite. It's totally possible to do this, and if you want to really stress your strategy skills, try not to get too cocky!You should never go around looting everyone's base as well - this will cause players to react, and the community is a friendly one. If you're trying to get rich, you should try and avoid this sort of thing as much as possible - it'll give you some bad press and make your in-game reputation quite terrible.Not to mention the fact that you won't like all the mistakes that you'll make. Just keep playing and try not to laugh, and you should be fine.
